I'm thinking about getting a golf launchpad simulator for Christmas. Does anyone have one or tried it out? Is it any good getting or should I save my money?

I've read reviews on it and people said it was pretty shitty and said to save your money. But I decided to get one 2 years ago and it was defiantly worth it.

A lot of people say that it is very inaccurate and that the drives are way off. And yes, I did find that too. But since you can use it on the PS3, I used it on my Tiger Woods PGA 14 game. It was incredible how much better it got. You can adjust how far you hit it in real life and after you shoot the ball it will show how your shot went through.

It was definitely a lot better than the Tiger Woods 08 game that came with it.

Also, a lot of people say that it is dangerous because the ball comes off from the center part. But if you take that right out and use real balls instead, then its a lot easier. Some times it can register as 2 shots if the ball spins twice which can be a real pain. But just take it off to solve that problem. It also solves the problem of shots not being registered

My overall conclusion of this product is, for the money, it defiantly gets the job done. It's meant for anyone who wants to hit a few balls during the winter.

Hope this helps!
