I don't really have a budget, but I'd like to not go over $2500.
Is this a good, final build? Anything else I should change? Also, is there anything not on this build list I will need to buy? And should this build handle all kind of games, most on max settings? Being stuff from like, Minecraft/GarrysMod to BF4/Crysis. I might would even like to be able to record while I game. I'm getting tired of consoles and would like to get into the much more broad world of PC gaming. It would be used primarily for heavy gaming, but it'd be nice to be able to record while gaming or possibly use for a little video editing. But the primary purpose for this would be for light&heavy gaming. I have a laptop to use for school work/web browsing etc, etc. That is one reason it might be "overkill" for gaming, I built it like this to have a little bit of room for everything. I even might would like to run dual monitors.

That would be very good for gaming. Im not going to tell you what to change because there are people that know a whole lot more than me about it.

That thing will be a monster. The only thing I would change was to get a smaller, cheaper (but still nice), moniter and get two of them so that you could have a game open on one screen and maybe the wiki or a live stream on the other. Just a thought though.

Thank you. And yes, I was thinking about a multiple monitor setup. I believe I am just going to start out with the one though, and then upgrade after "x" amount of time if I see the need or preference. Thanks for the response though!

I'm confused, you have an unlocked processor and a high-end overclocking motherboard but a low end cooler for the processor?
Is the system purely for gaming or do you intend to overclock at all?

The system is mostly for all types of gaming, light&heavy, as well as recording while gaming and video editing. And I'm new to this kind of stuff, this build was mostly made by a friend, so I don't really know much about overclocking.

My PC was 700 and is almost as good as that. You basically are just throwing a lot of money away.
I would recommend researching PC components. I can build a PC, that is better than that for half the price.

Saved you $236.45 from your build, you could save more if you changed the CPU to an i5 4670k and drop the ram to 8GB.
