The Gpu is far more important than the Cpu. Get a 6300 and put the rest of the money towards a better Gpu.

Lets take everything into consideration here, shall we? If you already have an i5, why would you want to buy a new cpu+mobo for arguably minimal performance increase? Im pretty sure you can ask any knowledgeable person on here and they'll tell you over and over that even an i5 is over kill for gaming purposes. Get a Better Gpu, youll thank me later.

a low end i5 for dayz and recording (forgot to add that) is average but for dayz (especially standalone soon to be released) you will need top top cpu and like i said im upgrading my gpu very soon too

Top of the line? not quite. An i3 can run arma 3 smoothly.

Arma III scales with both CPU and graphics performance, but the card will make a bigger difference.

Spend more on the card. I'd suggest an FX 6300 and a 760, just for example.
