I am looking to build a gaming computer soon, but it will also be for my job which involves heavy video editing.

I will be needing an i7 and a single mid to high range gpu. (Run games on at least 1080p with 60fps)
What will a computer of this stature cost? Of course along with the other necessary parts, I'm just looking to get an estimate at where I will be price wise.

I really appreciate any and all help received.

A decent editing/gaming computer can be pretty pricey. As CPU and RAM is expensive when moving past 8GB. Also, a card that maxes every game 60FPS + can be pricey to.

You'd need to give us a price range you could deal with and what types of games you'll be playing.

I'm in content creation, and for editing/gaming I wouldn't suggest any lower than this. Stepping down to an i5 wouldn't be too much worse, but that would mean downgrading most parts to better fit it. Go Nvidia for CUDA, as most editing programs take advantage of it. 16GB RAM for the same reason, allocating RAM to video programs will enable you to preview videos in higher quality and get a better idea of what you're doing. 2TB of fast mass storage for stock footage etc, and an SSD for obvious reasons.

Total: $1300+

Anywhere from $1000 - 1500 ideally, but could spend more if needed.
I'm more just looking at where the specs i need, would put me at price wise.

Don't forget to include (only if you need them) a monitor, mouse, keyboard, and operating system. If you need all 4, you're looking at spending an additional $350 if you get decent hardware.

Ah sorry i forgot to mention, everything but the computer hardware itself is taken care of.
Thanks for all the help everyone.
