kudzu wrote What kind of car are you looking for? A fast car
Do you want a sport or practical car? sport
What make do you favor the most? honda
Do you live/commute in a rural or urban area? rural/urban
Are you an experienced driver? Experienced driver

I would go with an '04-'06 Honda civic si with your price range. There is a sedan(coupe/4door) and hatchback model option whatever you prefer (like most civics)I am not a fan of the hatchback look on this car but it has a little bit better performance. Since you are an experienced driver i would recommend getting a manual transmission, it is a lot more fun. With a 2.0L VTEC engine gives you a cool 200 hp with a light car is pretty fast. This is a reliable fun inexpensive sports car that you can cruise with your friends with and is in your price range

Foree wrote I just recently bought my first car. It is a 09 Pontiac G6. Paid $5000 for it.

That's a pretty good deal. Some people are worried that there will be a scarcity of parts for Pontiac/ Saturn because of their discontinuation but GM is pretty good with having car parts available

Agape wrote i would suggest finding a little older honda civic, the older ones run forever and the parts (if needed) are pretty inexpensive.

I got a VW Golf, it's a great car it just sucks if i ever have to get anything fixed.. it could have the potential to costs i pretty penny

I agree Volkswagens are good cars but are expensive to fix and maintain. VWs GTI is one of my most favorate cars to drive

I have a firebird. They feel like a race car and are fast. You can pick one up for like $2500 or so. I picked up mine for $500 though. The plus of having a family used car dealership :p

Is this an American car? I'm from England lol

Yes Pontiac is a branch off of General Motors which is American car company but was discontinued in 2009

I don't know where you are getting that from but if I were to get a truck for $2500 it would probably be 20 years old with 300k miles on it rotted out with rust

You can get an beat up good condition truck for that price, and then when you get the money for it, you can always slide in a cummins in, and there yah go! lol
Those engines are EASY to swap.

Well yall don't look in the right place's founed mine for $2500 no problems and no body damage and + it sat for 3 months and all I did is put a fresh battery and gas in it and it ran fine

Go on autotrader or cars (dot) com and filter what you're looking for. Easiest way possible really. Half the people on this site aren't even old enough to get their permit's yet. (lol)

Again, depends on US or EU cars.

My mom gave me a budget of 8,000 to find whatever i wanted. I chose a 2006 Ford F-150 with 125k miles, fully loaded version, 4x4, and 4 door.

I only paid 6,000 and had 2,000 left for gas and insurance.
