Unfortunate for you that you got banned, however the chances are quite slim unless you're buying and selling millions in single transactions.

It does really depends from where/who you buy them of, if the coins are traded, then you won't, but if someone glitched/scammed & phished the coins, then you'll get banned for sure.

Sell quite a bit of coins actually. Having coin-seller accounts banned is one thing, the coin purchasers, never have I had one customer banned. We've sold single individuals 5m+

All thanks to coin sellers and honestly I really hope EA can find a way to shut them down for good. If it takes cutting off the market and making it only possible to obtain players by real money and packs, then so be it.

People who need to exploit the game to make money on the side are sad IMO. If you need to make real money, then get a career and stop ruining it for the rest of the players that play the game as it was made.
