The xfx 7850 is fine, especially for the price. Go for it if it does produce a lot of heat you can just add an aftermarket heatsink or a couple of extra fans or im pretty sure u can turn down the fans with some kind of software. Not too sure though

the pc case can have 7 fans

Honestly I wouldn't pay 120GBP for a 7850. Pay the extra 15 quid or so and get yourself a nice R9 270. It's a far far better card for the price and it's new generation. It will compare more closely to the 7870. The 7850 isn't a bad card, but it isn't good. Especially for the price of it at the minute.

Im not too sure mate. GPU's are not my strong point. the 7850 is pretty good for the price and runs most games on high.

Could it run minecraft feed the beast / Tekkit ETC
And Fraps at around 50Fps?
And also work photoshop and sony vegas

Also ill be using a amd 6 core

What CPU is it being as AMD is lesser in performance(but is still very viable) and i would look at something better like a 7950 as it runs for about $200-$250 now a days being a old card

I remeber buxtyy said that the 7850 is no longer relevant as the 270 has replaced it. I'm almost positive he said that, so here is a 270x link for 150 pounds [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . Just make sure your case can hold one they tend to be longer than others
