I'm looking tot make a computer for gaming but I'm a bit of a computer noob and don't know what I'm looking for.
I'm wanting to play games such as Arma 3, Battlefield 4 and DayZ. Don't need a monitor, keyboard or mouse, cheers for the help.

Motherboard doesn't have a price but is good and should add up to around the 500 mark.

It should play all the games you listed very well on high settings.

Would an extra 100GBP make a big difference?

It'd allow you do add an SSD, maybe get a better cooler on the GPU. But to be honest, the build is great as it is.

That's pretty much the same build as mine except my HDD is Western Digital 1TB blue rather than Toshiba but that doesn't make much of a difference, good luck with your build !

Wouldn't this be of the same power but just cheaper?

My build has a better PSU, Case and GPU. Your build uses an old generation GPU with a worse cooler, and the GPU you have put is voltage locked, whereas the 270X Gaming one probably isn't. The 270X performs closer to the 7950 than the 7870. Your build is cheaper, but it's cheaper for a reason; it's worse.
