My GTX 590 came in the mail today, still factory sealed for an awesome price.
Okay, someone please tell me I haven't lost my mind here. Maybe I have, I don't know. On an [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] unit, I should be able to run these specs a-ok right?
EVGA GTX 590, i7 2700k @ 4.4GHz on Asus P8Z77-I mobo, 8GB RAM, 2 500GB Velociraptor HDDs, 1 SSD, 1 Optical Drive, 1 140mm fan, 5 120mm fans. Right? No?
Okay, well my issue here is that I will crash out of BF3, hardly load BF4, crash out of COD:Ghosts, and in Ghosts I experience hardcore microstuttering, but only on select objects such as the gun suppressors and a small band on my soldier's wrist. It's strange.. With Battlefield everything goes black for .5sec and bam I get a driver error. Similar to the one described [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] If anyone has any inputs, it would be greatly appreciated if you'd share them as I am stumped.

Well you might want to start by deleting old drivers and installing new ones because you bought a new card.

That EVGA unit will be able to run all that with ease.
Also with that crash error, it has been known on the 590 for ages and always happens to newer games, maybe it's something to do with the SLI. I'm not sure if there is a fix or if it's just that way for good.
