I don't think its either a bust or a must. Its more of a "i'm tired of call of duty, lets try the another fps"

But seriously, its a pretty good game. Sniping is really fun because you can actually, you know, snipe. You have to calculate distance, bullet drop, etc and you actually have places to hide, unlike COD where you can be 1000yrds out and your rifle puts it on point every time or how if you stay in one spot longer than 10 seconds you get a knife jabbed in you.

Personally, the only game i play anymore, there is so much more innovation in the series. The new effects of levolution and frostbite 3 are just a small bit of the new game. And not to mention the variety of different ways to play, you can be a heli pilot, a tank driver, a medic, a sniper, etc. compared to any other game currently, there is really, (in my opinion) no other true competitor. Hell, COD players are starting to switch over, which also kinda sucks cause i dont want the 8 year olds running around calling people ****** tryhards and telling us to trickshot... but either way. I think battlefield is quickly becoming the #1 FPS franchise out there. And i mean...really... you cant go wrong with using a m40a5 or srr ontop of of any building (like on golmud) and having the building crumble below you, killing you. Its just sick.

It's a hard call. Sometimes I have so much fun in this game, but most of the time I just find my self not enjoying. I personally enjoyed the other battlefield more. It isn't all that much DICE's fault either as it is EA's, they pushed the game to be released before COD, and released a broken game.
