Whenever I play any type of Call of Duty game on my computer the FPS is horrible and my quality is really choppy in game. I just need to know what to buy to improve this. When I run X-Split to record, my computer is also unbelievably laggy.
My Specs (Tell me if I need to put any more):

You're running a Core 2 duo with 5GB of ram.
You shouldn't be able to play many games and definitely not run streaming software on a prebuilt.

What kind of budget do you have man? It really isn't worth the hassle to upgrade the cpu, as LGA775 is an obsolete socket.

Do you know what type of DDR ram you have? DDR2 or DDR3?
