I recently have been looking into the CM Storm Quickfire Rapid tenkeyless keyboard, its very tempting to buy it. But first I want some opinions from people who have it so if you have it let me know.

I've never really gotten the whole point of having a really good keyboard. In my opinion they're all the same. It's up to you though. It looks cool, but ask yourself, is it work 90 dollars?

Yes.
There are people that spend $300 on their keyboard.

It is nearly as important as your computer itself.
I mean it is what controls it.

Yeah I guess so, but for any game I play, I just use a little wired keyboard that's like 10 dollars. So I just don't really get the point of a good keyboard. Maybe I don't get the point since I don't do a lot of pc gaming besides some games. I just figure a 300 dollar keyboards' only use is gaming.

One of the most expensive keyboards is actually made for programming.

It's interesting to me that someone would think they need a keyboard like that to program in a better manner. I program on my pretty bad keyboard, and I can do it decently fast with the speed I type. So I just think it's up to the user what keyboard they want. I've though about getting a better keyboard but then I thought to myself, "What's the use?"

People spend that kind of money on a keyboard because of the switches and build quality.
A cheap keyboard is going to have the mushy keys, common mechanical keyboards have variants of the Cherry MX swithces, old school Model M keyboards have buckling springs, etc.

The options of different switches lets your choose your typing experience.

That's the keyboard that I use. I haven't seen the one you're talking about, unfortunately.

Ahh okay I guess that makes sense to me. I suppose I could understand why someone would spend that kind of money on a keyboard.
