I need help. i got an old PS3 from a friend that has a corrupt disk drive that doesnt work, i was able to update to 3.55 Kmeaw but it wont run comgenies file manager or blackb0x.

The homebrew probably isn't for 3.55. It's probably homebrew for CFW 4.xx

use multiMAN and then connect to FTP via filezilla
Much easier. mM will run on ANY firmware so no need to look a 3.55 version or 4.xx version. Download [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (It's a direct link download)

I agree It doesn't get any easier Ftp and MM,also dump your Eeid.bin whilst your on 3.55

Still Having these issues, i wasn't able to fix by suggestions. Anyone else help?
Also, sorry about replying to it so later in time, didn't think i should make new topic since i still have this issue. I'm thinking about selling this console for 80$ if i can't seem to fix issue, i think someone else probably could.
