Though it is a generic style (3D text on a 2D background) i do like the smoke effect you tied in there, more unique than most but try expanding non the less.

Looks nice but I don't like the Gradient on both pieces of text. Try a solid color or a one color gradient.

no. don't get rid of the gradient used on the text, adds nicely to it.
