This is all I see on Twitter:
I don't understand why people don't get a simple concept:
Phil signed over his freedom of speech when he signed that contract.
Legally speaking, his laws are different from ours.
There are so many people saying that the freedom of speech and religion is gone when it really isn't.
Phil is a public figure of a billion dollar corporation that has a political image to upkeep.
He should have known better.

I support what he did but I don't see why everyone is making a big deal out of it. He got kicked off the show, so what. Who cares lol it's probably all for publicity anyways.

I know he signed some of his rights away. The problem is someone who signed that same contract, if they would have supported same sex relations, everything would have been ok.

He's part of a company that strongly supports Christianity.
I guess A&E didn't read this part.
We can have sex talk, drugs, Miley Cyrus twerking and all that in the media, but God forbid one guy speak out when he was asked what his beliefs are on Gays and Gay Marriage. Welcome to the "New" America.

"We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other."

So because he's rich, successful, and has a political image he should silence his own beliefs and opinions? There's nothing that should keep someone from silencing how they feel about a subject.
Here is a direct quote from him. "It seems like, to me, a vaginaas a manwould be more desirable than a man's anus. That's just me..." He clearly says that his own opinion on the subject, and in no way is he trying to sway other people beliefs. Everyone's entitled to think how they want.
Some people don't approve of gay marriage, some people do. The only issue that should be discussed is the fact that he is being silenced for having an opinion.

He said that after quoting Corinthians, which is a walking contradiction.
On your comment on "Welcome to the New America", he has a contract to follow.
Get over it.

Get over it? Take your own advice and get over the fact that people are supporting him. He's been a Christian the WHOLE TIME Duck Dynasty has been on air, and NOT ONCE has A&E had a problem with it.
