Just really.. what happened to music I'm talking about all genres not just one specific I mean ALL of them.

First of all what happened to the creativity in it. All you see is about twerking and terrible rappers (2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Future, Drake, etc). Well for me I hate rap but I listen to it and I like the old stuff like 2Pac and such when they were actually RHYMING not about twerking and big booty hoes every single sentence. I could say a lot more but you get the point.

Lets get to Pop now I know there is still good songs that come out today such as Imagine Dragons. But man its just keeps getting worse and worse every day. I don't really have to much to say about Pop but its really going down hill with its creativity and meaning but still are some good songs.

Lets get to rock (Favorite Genre) Rock died in the early 2000's and is getting much worse today. A lot of the bands from 80/90's are getting old and losing their touch. Rock was in its prime in the late 80's and 90's of all its just amazing song and meaning and also creativity. Nowadays its just complete  and very few I think good songs. I missed the 20th Century and was glad to be born and witness all the greatness and then just see it all go down hill and it gets me man.

I just wish Music could just not be so stupid and go back to the old days, but I know it will never be the same.

New lifestyles ask for new music. I don't know, I am not a fan of the new pop, rap, and that electronic what not.

I listen to metal-core. \m/
Now you tell me how August Burns Red is not creative... good luck! <3

Times change, can't say I'm too happy about it, but it happens.

It is sad how people say the best rapper is [Insert current rapper here] when in reality rappers like 2Pac, Wu-Tang, Biggie, and even Jay-Z blow them out of the water.

To each their own. Everyone has an opinion, who are we to say otherwise.

Times change, generations evolve..

We all have personal preferences in music which change each generation.

Like I guarantee most of your parents hate the music your into and they'll claim that their 'hits' are better than let's say your 90's hitss. It's something you debate against as you get older lol

Being a person who listens to music for the lyrics, I can hardly listen to any of the music you hear on the radio nowadays.

"She got a big booty so I call her big booty". I mean c'mon now, really? If 2Chainz was as good as he was in school, why can't he take those skills and apply it to his lyrics? Maybe they half ass the lyrics so they can release songs quicker for faster income? I don't know if that's true, but the music shouldn't be ALL about the money. If I were to make music it would be real and meaningful, not like any of this garbage we hear now.

you dont like rap but you listen to it....did you really just say that. I understand that you like old school but hey man you gotta get with the times. Time has changed and not all the rappers now a days are bad. Alot of people hate rappers like Waka Flocka or Gucci Mane but that's only because they listen to the same songs EVERYONE else listen to. If you really want to get the better side of rap in today's time you NEED to stop listening to albums and check out the mix tapes.
