A friend i know has just recently started a pc shop and he said he would build me a pc to play most game at good FPS.

Amd piledriver fx63500 Quad core 4.2ghz
Nvidia gtx 650 1gb
16gb DDR3 1600mhz
2TB Hard drive.

Dont know what motherboard etc there is. Will this run games like cod battlefield and DayZ and decent framerate.

You'd have to turn down the settings to low on most modern games(BF4 etc) but that should be fine.Also if i were you i'd get a FX 6300,8GB of RAM and get a better GPU as it will be better all round build.

that for $300 is a good price but like hoop said I'd go with the 6300 and try to get a 270x

For 300 thats really good but as some of the other guys have said try get the FX-6300 And the 270x.
