I was playing GTA V, then all of a sudden my screen turns red with stripes. I couldn't do anything, not even pop the guide up. I had to restart my Xbox. Does anyone know what this means?

It may have just been the Xbox Overheating or a Internal Memory error

Check your AV Cables? They could be out of place slightly.

This happened to my xbox One not that long ago and it was cause your xbox was in a small place and probably either you have it some where their is alot of stuff around it. It can also be the cables or your xbox just over heating i suggest getting a fan.

Well Your console could be faulty, or your disc is messed up.
If your xbox is over heating that could be the problem.
It also is a sign of the red rings of death, and the circle of death.

I would unplug everything and restart it. if the problem continues i would
give it a rest or contact xbox customer support.

Hope i was able to find your solution.
