alright i did. i've tried this several times and waited and everything. whenever i try to test connection it can't even connect to the internet. and says "Your DNS Server can't resolve Xbox Live Server names."

Probably because the dns server is getting pounded right now(since this now has over 1,600 views) so just keep trying, it might be a problem where you live, if in like some foreign country or something.
