I will mainly be using it for gaming and streaming mostly
Let me know if I should change anything
Hoping for it to last me a solid 4 years also

Hoping to run all these games at high or ultra setting smoothly
Crysis 3
Bf4
Minecraft ftb lolol
Ac4
Cod ghost

And run blue-ray movies good

I am noob at this. Also could someone explain what hyperthreading is?

You don't need an i7 4770K an i5 4670K will do perfectly.
You also don't need a $99 optical drive. any cheap thing will do, if you really want a blu ray then get the cheapest one you can. it makes barely any difference.
I would rather get a optical mouse than a laser and a headset that expensive isn't needed.
I personally would change the PSU to a XFX unit.

Hyperthreading is where the CPU is able to process more than one thing at a time. Most CPUs will do the tasks individually, but is so quick it seems like it is done at the same time. Hyperthreading however, is NOT needed for gaming as it shows no benefits to playing games.

Just saying, any computer can "last".However think about 4 years ago where PC components were then.So its hard to judge where it will be in 4 years, with new hardware coming out all the time you can't really judge how long it will "last".

Isn't too shabby of a build. As the previous poster said, you could save a few bucks if you went with an 4670k, as hyperthreading hasn't been optimized for the majority of games yet. You could save a few bucks on the HDD by going with a Seagate Barracuda instead. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . You could use those extra bucks saved from the HDD to buy a 256 GB SSD. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Have fun building your pc.
