Sorry if I'm a bit behind but I heard it's like a Freeview app for the Xbox One. I know UK is restricted on some features and I was wondering whether this is one of them?

You actually have to have Verizon Fios to use the Fios app. I believe you need internet from them and possibly something else to be able to use it.
