My parents just bought an iMac desktop and i was wondering if it would run mine-craft, and if so how well? any information would be great, thanks.

Yeah, it should run it reasonably well, depends on the model though.

If it's brand new, yes it will run it fine.
My 2011 MacBook Pro runs MC with around 80 FPS.

the iMac actually runs it very well, especially if you are into PVPing, my friend was one of the best PVPers I ever played with, because of his iMac, most people tend to lag a bit in PvP but he wouldn't, but back on topic, yes its pretty decent for it, test it out on your own, get into a game a hit f3 to see your FPS.

i have a custom build gaming pc and a macbookpro. the laptop runs minecraft just as good as my gaming pc does. so yes you should have no problem.

- you should have got a pc though. xD i paid more for a little laptop and got more in my pc. but they are sweet.

I didn't really get it for gaming its mostly for working, but the game will be in my spare time. And its the brand new model, i can get specs its the 21.5 inch iMac.
