Yep, you should not have any problems running Dayz at a fluid frame rate, enjoy.

Personally I would not buy a second hand GPU as it may be faulty (most likely isn't, I'd rather be positive), especially when you could get an R9 280X for the same price but brand new and it should perform around about the same as the 7970.

Also depends on the CPU, DayZ is very CPU intensive

Dayz is more of a cpu intensive game, you could run it quite well on a 270x or 7950 or 760.

what other specs do you have?
