Well to get started you need to search for the ins and outs of adobe PhotoShop cs6. In my honest opinion you want to use cs6 rather than any other PhotoShop as it has a lot more features that all the other photoshops don't have and it will help you out a lot and save you a lot of time knowing once you learn the features.
To start doing Graphics for other people then you are going to need to know what you are doing on PhotoShop before you start doing any Graphics for anyone.
To help better your self at Photoshop you are best watching a few tutorials on the basic tools and then watching things like speed arts as you progress into Photoshop.
Once you are good at using Photoshop then move onto learning Cinema 4D R14, this is were the editing really comes into professional however don't try to learn two programs at once as you are going to over do yourself and get a little head wiped with what you are doing and you will most likely give up with it in the first month of trying.
Don't see it as you will be amazing at editing within a few month as the skills that you see on speed arts to people like Ferox Studios take a couple of years to master. This all depends on how fast you learn.
I hoped this helped you out!
