Hey there guys, I finally got my PS4 today. I set it all up and everything and turned it on to the correct HDMI channel, but it came up on my TV that there's was no signal from the PS4. I turned my PS4 off by the socket because it refuses to turn off when I hold the power button for 7 - 8 seconds. I can't seem to turn off the PS4 manually, the white or orange light won't even appear but the blue one keeps glowing and it doesn't change colour. It also won't even recognize the controller. Do you have any idea on what the problem(s) may be an how they can be fixed so my PS4 appears on my HDMI channel?
Thanks!
Thanks!

There is a known issue with the PS4's and the HDMI ports. The issue is a piece of metal inside the port is sticking up, so a few guides online have shown how to fix it. The blue led is shown when the PS4 is trying to deliver a signal to the TV and will only change over to white once it finds it.
Try this guide, I'm busy so I could only do a very quick glance over: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Nothing wrong with the port dude, still the same problem. Probably taking it back to the store tomorrow.

Bummer, sorry to hear that man. That's about as much as you can do from internet guides I think, (unless someone else has another idea), so taking it back to the store is about all you can do at this point. But if you're lucky whatever store you bought it from will have another in stock.

Have you tried plugging it into the other HDMI port on back of your TV? There also maybe a problem with the HDMI cord that comes with the console. Try another one
