I only own Garrys Mod. When i join a server everything is purple and black squares with red error signs everywhere! How Do i fix this?

You're missing the textures for CS:S, you must either buy it (on sale on steam, why not), or there are ways in which you can download the textures.

You can only get them by buying the games.

Half-Life and Counter Strike Source. My friend has tried torrents and those don't work. You can't get just the textures either.

But, you HAVE to buy the 2 games above to get those textures. Or play on Garry Mod based servers. Usually made by people without those textures and their very plain and bland.

You need to have one of the source games for it to function i.e:Half life 2

I would recommend getting all of the Source games(Counter-Strike: Source, Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2) instead of just buying one.

I'm using downloaded Counter Strike: Source textures and they're working fine. Guns & Maps.
