C#. You can make GUI based applications in both languages, but C# is far easier to use (plus XRPC and JRPC are used in C#).

I would advise learning C++ first. If you can learn it first then you can conquer nearly any other coding language. C++ is pretty simple to code in if you spend a week or two looking at others codes and actually evaluating them (not just copying and pasting).
