Difference is that people are modifying the console to modify the game. The modders are the ones who are getting the biggest consequences like console ban/GTA online ban. The people getting money from these lobbies are just getting their money taken away, rolled back, or put into a cheaters lobby. Plus IW and 3arc never had this big of an exploit and now R* is suffering a lot because of all this chaos caused by one simple person learning how to mod using DNS servers.

Edit: and also there are SO MANY MORE people modding GTA than COD because COD is so much harder to mod.

Have you seen ghosts? Newest cod and it's basically been modded since it's came out

But I do agree,altho you are allowed to change DNS settings on the console, it isn't meant to be used for modding games.

If R* considers this as you using mods then the worst thing to happen is cheaters pool. I doubt this is banable. Just lay off the mods and keep playing like you normally would and hope for the best!

I do agree about if you mod you should suffer the consequences but no one wants to get console banned and buy a whole new console.

Thanks, I was gifted the money prior the 1.08 update. Now whenever I'm in a public game and I receive a random gift of money (more than six figures) I dashboard so It doesn't save.

There might be suspicion towards your account but the worst that can happen is be put into a cheaters pool for you.

Lvl 203 With 9 bill am i high chance of getting in the cheaters pool
