My sound into the Headset is broken. Help Please Posted:

Basically what is happening is that the headset that comes with the XboxOne is only playing some sound. For example I loaded up Dead Rising 3 and played around 5 minutes trying to get any sound to play but nothing is working. Also just some extra information about my setup/the problem... I use a monitor that has no sound output and so I rely on the headsets for game sound and voice chat. I have tried the volume buttons on the mic itself where it hooks up to the controller and it plays the maxed volume beep sound so I know the headset is working. When i go to "Party Chat" it picks up my voice but I still can't hear anything. Also I tried hard resetting and it didn't help

TL;DR Headset is not playing sound from the Xbox One.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

That may be a problem with the headset itself e.g they earphone may be broken
