I am going to be upgrading my graphics card soon and I need some advice on what card I should get.
I currently have a Geforce GTX 555.
Games I will be running:
DayZ (Standalone)
Arma 3
Battefield 4
and many other games.
Requirements:
The card needs to be under 350.00
All suggestions are welcome, thanks!

Your close. I have an alienware Aurora, I got it as a birthday gift almost a year and a half ago. I wish they would have just gave me the money and I would have built it myself..

I'm having the same delema, so instead of making a new post I thought I would post my question in this thread.
Here are the two cards I am looking at.
Asus GTX 760

Apart from how it performs, it also comes with Splinter Cell and AC4 for free. Today only I would also get 11% off dropping the price to around $220
PowerColor R9 270X

I am under the impression that this card is not quite as powerful, and under a general impression that cards that use AMD chips in general are not as well made as NVIDIA.
But at the same time I do not know if it is on par with the X760 or not and when it comes down to it, I want the one that is going to perform better.

the 760 is a better card, but it costs 60 dollars more, if you can spare it go for it.

Yeah, I am really thinking about getting that GTX 760. However I will still listen to any other suggestions people may have.

Actually only ends up being $25 ish more if I buy it today due to a discount and $10 rebate. Plus the two free games. Just wanted to get a solid answer on power before I purchased it, other wise I was just going to wait until a month down the road when I purchase the rest of my components for my pc.
Thanks for the info!
