I might have only joined yesterday, but I've already noticed something that really grinds my gears: People making pointless posts that don't need to exist! For example, I find it peculiar when I see that one person is the latest person to reply to every thread in that particular Sub-Forum. When I go to look at a few of their posts, they always turn out to be something like 'Thanks, that was helpful' (when I strongly doubt they even read it, never mind applied the information to something they were doing) or 'I'm lucky since I've never had that problem' etc. But, what makes it evens worse is that the posts always seem to be very poorly punctuated too or filled with grammatical errors. Does anyone else notice this kind of thing/get annoyed with it?
By the way, I don't see a lot of people doing this, I just see a couple of people in particular doing this a lot...

I know your *Rant is on but in my head I think your trying to say also "You care about what people Think or Say". Let the staff deal with them because I think that classes as "Posting your Post Count up > Which in my terms is (Spamming)
I also think that people say something and then say something which is not to do with the topic or it doesn't make sense.
Note: You don't really need to care about their Spelling, Grammer unless your a teacher. :p
Nice Rant!

I think you should care less about what other people post on the forums. If they're spamming, report them and move on.

Anyway, you presented a really good point about how I care too much about what people say or think, so thanks for that. Also, I prefer giving comments a 'useless' rating than reporting them. That way, the person would have to start making good quality posts consistently to improve his ratio of 'useful' posts to 'useless' posts, instead of being blocked from using the site altogether.

Finally, regarding the note: I am a teacher...
(Just kidding).

I saw one guy yesterday posting the most useless garbage like "I'm so lost right now" "Lol that was really funny". Like seriously...no one cares.
On to the topic of poorly punctuated posts, a lot of people don't care considering it's the internet and their are a bunch of e-thugs out there. But didn't you post something yesterday in this manner " wat fone do u hve". I remember it. But It's nice to see people actually using correct grammar now and not like, "Y u do dis to me lel yolo sweg" stuff like that.

This happens all of the time when people are looking to boost their post counts without actually knowing anything about the topic or anything.
They will eventually get caught or dealt with by staff.

Like seriously...no one cares.I know the exact person you're talking about when you mentioned the 'I'm so lost right now' and 'Lol that was really funny' posts. Also, as for the 'Wat Fone Do U Hav' thread that I created yesterday night: I explained inside the thread that I had deliberately spelled in that manner to create a sense of authenticity and create a general theme - It wasn't out of laziness or because I was uninformed/uneducated.

Why would it matter what others say? If the staff do not care about it then dont worry about it.
