Well, I ordered a PC (Cyber build)and the order was cancelled and I got a refund which I am happy about because I regretted getting a pre-built one. I am going to build one now. (I got to keep the free game that came with my card ) I was going to add the r9 270x but saw that it was really really loud and gets hot. I know nothing really about stuff besides CPUs and Graphics Cards. I want a case that has a nice look but cheap. IF YOU CAN fit in a keyboard maybe?

Budget: $1500

I'm going to say this right now. You need to get a Caviar blue hdd not a black one.

Not going to add a case as it's really personal preference so you decide

A $1500 build without an SSD? If I was the OP I'd step down to the i5, get a cheaper MOBO, stick an SSD in and upgrade to 1TB of HDD space since you said you want to record and it's actually faster to record onto a separate drive (programs on SSD, record onto HDD). Just what I'd do though

Yah, but I want to do mostly gaming. Hard gaming. Not much recording. Just once in a while.

Well for mostly gaming you're gonna want something like this:

IMO an i7 would be a waste of money unless you're really going to utilise it hyper threading capabilities but if you really have your mind set on it, just replace the i5 with the i7. Went with an after market cooler and a good overclockable MOBO so you can get the most out of your CPU. You said you didn't want the R9 270x so I went with a 770 instead which should max out all of your games, no problem. Also threw in a SSD along with the HDD because, hey, with a budget that big why not? Oh and as it doesn't quite reach your budget, the left over money can be used to buy any extras (keyboard etc.)
Enjoy!

This is a system that has fantastic expandability, great cooling and amazing performance. The components here are only of the highest quality and will be able to be used through many upgrade cycles. This system can also overclock, however if you didn't want to and wanted to save as much as you could, I can reduce the cost a little. And the keyboard is a high quality mechanical gaming keyboard which is worth every penny.

All parts from Newegg.

Lel, bar the liquid cooling and a few slightly different components aren't our builds pretty much identical? Correct me if I'm wrong haha

Only the processor and motherboard are the same. My build uses similar components yes, but they are all from the same store and use up to date pricing which PCPartPicker does not.

It's the reason why even with an operating system included mine would be cheaper, and would have more stuff.
