i posted earlier today about restoring an iphone that i found at my aunts. I have now restored it to factory conditions. I found the IMEI and looked it up on t mobile's website since they are my carrier and got this message. "This device is being financed and has an outstanding balance that must be paid or it may not be able to be used on the T-Mobile network. " can anyone help?

If you're aunt or uncle is still paying for the phone then it should be fine for T-Mobile network use. If they are not paying for it, the IMEI is blacklisted on T-Mobile's network and it cannot be used on T-Mobile any more.
Only thing you can do is pay t-mobile whatever is left on the balance or you can try to unlock it and use it on another GSM network.
