Honestly, I have it for both and use the same tv and same hdmi cord, and look identically the same. Get ps4 if you mainly plan to get it to game, and get xbox one if you like to game casually and love media services.

It all depends on which system you like.

They look basically the same on both so visual wise it does not matter.

If you like Xbox and the Xbox controller, get the XB1. If you like PlayStation and their controller, get a PS4.

You don't want to regret your decision.

I can only speak for ps4 since that's what I have but it looks pretty amazing. They definitely took advantage of the new gen. I can also say games like assassins creed looks OUTSTANDING and is optimized for ps4. Doesn't fully answer but eh, I tried.

I have both consoles, and I can tell the difference. Both consoles are multi platform games and so the devs try to make it look the same on both consoles. Both consoles run BF4 in 1080p, XBOX ONE has better contrast so it will look better on XBOX ONE. PS4 on the other hand, has slightly better graphics on the exclusive PS4 games as the devs of that game can really show off how good the graphics are. If you are just planing to mainly play on BF4 , I would choose the XBOX ONE as, I'm guessing you played it on xbox 360? So you can keep your levels, DLC a month earlier and also it looks better (well anyway I think it looks better). I hope this helped
