Stop recommending i7's and 16Gb of ram when he wants to game. He can save a heck of money by going with 8GB and an i5 4670k. I haven't got time atm but i'll build you one later.

He said he wants to play DayZ which is very CPU intensive, plus with BF4 the recommended settings are 8GB and if he has programs running in the background not all 8 will be used. As well as he has a $1500 budget you'd be insane not to go with that much ram on a budget.

Oh dear. A budget doesn't need to be filled, if you had $3k would you spend it all on a PC. You know very little about PC's, DayZ is CPU intensive yes, however i5 4670k will be fine. There is no need for an i7 because in gaming you won't make use of hyperthreading therefore making it no better than an i5 4670k. Secondly on the RAM, BF4 will run fine on 8GB. YOU DON'T NEED 16GB. You people think just because he has the budget go for 16GB, well we're here to help people save money and get the best on the budget, rather than getting RAM he will never use. BF4 is more graphically intensive than anything else so as long as he has 8GB and a decent GPU he'll be fine. Also, BF4 won't use up all 8GB anyway, so he's wasting $60 for the sake of 8GB he won't even use.
