im am thinking about getting my ps3 flashed to be able to play back up of games. i have been told when there is an update on a game i wont be able to play it anymore. can someone help me out a bit and explain to me what a ps3 flash does and if it is worth it. i would gladly appreciate it. thanks again guys

1) a ps3 can't have a flashed drive like xbox can.

2) you need a ps3 on 3.55 to be jailbroken to play back up

3) no you can't downgrade by putting the firmware on a usb

Its called cobra ODB,Its not cheap but allows you play backups on Ps3 just like the Xbox version.

I only suggest that to those who want to get their PS3 bricked after a few weeks of using this.

I've used it personally and bricked my ps3 a few weeks(2 months maybe) after I started using it.

If it worked good I would of suggested it.
