You should be fine I can run Fallout on my computer with a 4.0RAM without a problem

Have you tried going over to systemrequirements lab? That will give you a pretty good reading.

I'm assuming that you have Intel HD graphics 3000. If so, you shouldn't have any troubles running New Vegas at an acceptable frame rate. It isn't a very demanding game. Best Regards.

RAM isn't everything. I don't know where people get this idea from. Happens all the time.
OP: You would be able to run it but I wouldn't say very smoothly integrated graphics aren't the best for most if not all games.
