Ok, so im trying to get all my itunes music onto my new droid phone that i recently got. I have all the right settings set on my phone(Usb is set to MTP) and i also have the device manager installed on my laptop. But every time i try to plug in my phone to my laptop it says Unrecognized Device and it wont sync so i cant transfer music or anything for that matter.
Does anyone know a solution to this? i have tried to look up any possible solution on the internet but nothing seemed to work.
PS: the usb cord that im using is not the same brand as my phone, idk if that matters or not, i figured any usb cord would work for this

First off, you don't use iTunes to "sync" music to an Android device. It's loads simpler than that. Make sure you have USB debugging enabled in your settings, you don't need it, but sometimes that's the problem. Then set the device into MTP and make sure the newest/correct drivers are installed. Then if autoplay doesn't pop up navigate to "my computer", then "YOURDEVICE", then just drag and drop all of your music into the "music" folder of your root directory. No syncing, no iTunes, no bullshit is required.
