GR33NV3N0M wroteCouldnt have said it better my self, i hope we figure it out within my lifetime, as highly unlikely as that is.Poor wrote Aliens such as green things no. aliens such as bacteria. is highly likely.
its really impossible to say, i mean the vast amounts of planets out there and the infinite variety of them also means for the potential of an infinite variety of life also?
The thing is that if we assume that all life is as we humans are and that is destructive by nature, and self destructive to (look at what were doing to our planet) how long will civilization continue until the point of collapse? At some point it will be impossible for us to continue, and this could be 10,000 years into the future which means our Modern civilization has lasted in the region of 15,000 years? at that point.
If alien civilizations are the same, then it could be plausible that they had destroeyed their selves before ever finding life on another planet.
The universe is too massive to comprehend and all i can simply say is that we will never know until we know....

I am confident there is some form of life out there, I also think it is possible that somewhere in this universe that another race(even if just bacteria) probably lived and is extinct due to a sun that has expired. There is so much space and time since the start of this universe that for us to be the only life is most likely very improbable.

IMO, if there was/were another life form or "other humans", I think in a way we would be technologically "advanced" the same way they are. Let's say its true that theres other beings out there, tthe type of materials, elements, etc. would be different from ours thus making them more technologically advanced since we've never seen anything like it and the same goes for us, they would see something they've probably never seen before. My hopes are that we get visited by "aliens" and do no harm to us but tell us ways to improve how everything works in our planet such as agriculture, cures for diseases, and others things, and make peace with earth so that if ever another "life form" threatens earth, we got some badass aliens as back up

Where not alone. its not possible that we could be alone cos there is probably the exact same planet on the other side of the universe or something like that. none of these stupid parallel universes there will just be more planets like earth!

Here is a good way to think about it, say the Earth is a 6 on a dice. Okay every other number on the dice is a moon planet or sun. Okay if 1 billion dice are thrown, there are bound to be a milllion sixes. So if the universe has that many there is like a 99.9% chance there is life.

True enough mate.
I say there are other species living on different planets, Earth cannot be the only planet with over 7billion people living on it....

Machamp wrote I Believe their is a planet out there that is identical to our own. This is just something i thought about and feel it could be true.I to believe that earth may have a twin, or a very similar sibling. but who's to say that race went extinct before the evolution or creation of humans? stars are not forever, our sun will one day expire. thus so will humans. Maybe these other races suns have already supernova'd or turned into black holes?
