This christmas i finished my build, but i swapped out the psu awhile back from my old antec to a psu that was in my old alienware. The alienware PSU heats up like crazy! I Plan on swapping the antec back in but until then, is it safe to be playing on this power supply? it heats up real quick but it doesnt burn me, its just warm.

Specs:
2GB GTX 760
8GB RAM
Asus Mobo m5a97
AMD FX-8350
700 watt Dell psu (Default alienware psu)
Windows 7
2TB barracuda Hardrive 7200RPM

Maybe try and upgrade your PSU to about 800 - 900 watts. Then you will have plenty of head room and it shouldn't heat up.

900W for a 760? You crazy?

A XFX 550 Pro will be more than enough to power that, and stay cool whilst doing so.
