I am trying to help you get the most bang for your buck here. Don't act stupid.

If he wants to get the best bang for his buck then he'd go AMD. And yes, i will call the 2500k old, didn't say anything about its performance but its old. Also, you cannot say AMD CPU's are much worse than intels, you cannot compare them as they are used on different budget etc. Also, i will "challenge" you as you call it, lol.

It actually is the best bang for his buck going with the 2500K. It's close to AMD's best processor performance wise for half of its price. If that isn't bang for your buck then I don't know what is. Lmfao

Why would you suggest a 2500K for $240 when you can get 4670K or even a Xeon 1230 V3 (with a cheaper board) for the same price? Unless you plan on "cherry picking" for overclocking or you have a first-gen 1155 board, there's no reason to do this. i5s have not changed much in terms of raw performance since the 2500K and if you can get one really cheap, they're still great deals, but that's not what you're suggesting.

OP, the 8350 is the best for your budget, but I'd suggest dropping the Blu Ray drive for a regular DVD burner, going with cheaper memory, a cheaper motherboard, the 8320, a better graphics card, and a faster mechanical drive.
