Is it only me that thinks PC games get the rough end of the stick when it comes to some online games? Racers in particular do not get a very long lifespan (F1 2013 for example is almost dead now), whereas console games generally get more time.

This only happens because there are more consoles than PC gamers.

If it were the other way around Xbox users would be saying the same thing.

True, but it is still a little bit ridiculous how new games get 2-3 months before they are basically dead online

That is debatable as well Left 4 Dead 2 is probably not doing so well on the console right now, where as on PC it is a very popular game. Also Skyrim has decreased in popularity on the console, the PC version is also very popular.

Left 4 Dead 2 was a free game given on I believe Christmas day, it increased because a lot of people got it and have friends who have downloaded it thus increasing in popularity

Although that is true, it was still played by many before that.

It was still a popular game before that though, as I remember the community hub still being very much alive on steam.

More people with the system = more players on the game.

Not much you can do about it.

PC does have other advantages so it's swings and roundabouts.
