If you have a sweaty team with decent speed up top and good wingers, I would try lob balling and having your players to make runs. I score so many break aways and 1 on 1s in this Fifa its ridiculous.

If you don't prefer that play style, as the other said, I would go with possession and passing. Move the ball around between your wings and midfielders and wait to capitalize on a defensive player's mistake.

Seriously though, if you master lob balling and making runs, you will improve offensively.
