A gamertag is supposed to define you personally. When someone has an OG gamertag it's kind of pointless cus it doesn't really mean anything to them.

I Agree i hate when kids come in the lobby smack talking with gametags like "Bag of chips" "Xbox one games" They just mix two random words together and try to act like a bigshot

I am one of those OG dudes, but I don't look down upon on other gamertags. I seriously would not like to be known as xv swag 176. The way I think of it, if you play xbox a lot, why not have a decent gamertag?

I have played xbox for 6years, and I still dont feel the need to get a name like 'Quack' (OOOGEEE) there is seriously no need for them...
But eh, each to there own.

I agree with you. It's kind of funny because sometimes they're not "OG" at all. Surprisingly and idiot buys it for $20-60.

I'd pay for a gamer tag that was 'Monster' or something normal. It looks nicer than 'xXMoNsteRxXX'
I wouldn't waste money on something stupid, like 'A Frosted Toenail' as that's not even oG

I'd much rather a gamertag/username that means something to be rather than a random word/phrase, but idk that's just me.

I dont really hate the OG gamertag scene. When I see someone with the gamertag "Green" or "Lag" I do actually find it impressive. However I do agree with you that people shouldn't think they are cool because of it. I also agree that meaningless names such as "ALittleToenail" should not be classified as OG and be sold...
