You can search up 'Avast free Anti-Virus' on google and a download link should appear. This is the Anti-Virus I currently use and it's great. You can also just get the free version of Avg 2014.

AVG and Avast are completely free and are not trial software.

I would recommend Microsoft Security Essentials. It's already installed on your PC if you have Windows 8 or above. But as for Windows 7 and older, you can find it on Microsoft's website. It's light and free.

AVG and Avast are great as well, but I hate the pop ups that advertise their paid product that appears often.

As some of the others have already said. I would give Avast a go, I've been using it for a while now and it's fantastic.

Look for Advanced System Care 7. That's what I use, and I really like it!

You can try Malwarebytes

Really good AV and it always makes sure it gets rid of the viruses etc.

Malwarebytes is not an antivirus. It's made to be used in addition to something like AVG, Avast, etc.
