They are trying to thank you. Even if you work for a job that includes tips it is based on how good you work.

You sated that you don't work for tips, as you work for 9.50 an hour. Wouldn't it be nice to make your weekly alongside with some extra cash? I'm still highly construed in which why you don't appreciate tips. FREE MONEY! Looooooaaaaadddsss OF MOnEY!

Because I'm happy with making the amount I do, and the job I do doesn't allow tips but for some reason people still do it anyway, AND I find it insulting. I'm not one for people to hand me stuff free like that. It's not me. I work for everything I have. And having someone hand me a tip doesn't make me feel like I've accommihsed anything. It makes me feel like they are trying to say, hey you don't make enough money so here you go kid.
