Can yon help me because my friend spawns but he can't get In my car? Is is when doing the glitch when I bring a car from story mode to multiplayer?

Ohh I can't I retried it but when I was in my car online I could see my friend but only when he got really close to me and he couldn't see me or my car. I tried to tell him where it was and he went to get in but it wouldn't let him he just walked straight through it?
