You don't get banned for gamerscore modding unless you do it multiple times after getting caught the first time.

You'll get a gamerscore reset first time and that's it.

It's very rare to see people get caught with modded gamerscores so your fine.

You wouldn't get console banned, unless, like the person above me said, you have previous bans on that console from other things, I was console banned 2 years ago, And I thought it was because of Gamerscore but then Microsoft did this thing where they unbanned all consoles and the day I turned it on and got online I got re console banned, So it had to be cause of system tampering.

Well Gamerscore modding isn't as bad as modding a game I would think.....I have had some friends that modded their Gamerscore and have never gotten caught....but some people aren't lucky......it also depends on how much Gamerscore you unlock and lets say you unlock like 50 achievements with online unlock where they can see it..then it would be kind of obvious that you modded it because you would have all of those achievements unlocked in like a minute....and if you did get caught you get 1 warning I think with a reset....and then account ban...and if you keep doing it with accounts then its a console ban...but I think if your only going to 2000 Gamerscore that you should be fine.....good luck with your modding though.
