Just followed a few tutorials on how low Poly things work, and I really like it. Hopefully I'll be making more advanced model in the future, but this was just to expand my knowledge on the tools and features of c4d. Keep in mind this is not an actual piece but I'm just messing around and practising the tools. Any feedback or tips would be appreciated. I added the sky just because without it it looks plain.
I haven't added any ground materials or textures as the focus was mainly to practise Low Poly in C4D. This was also to practise more on C4D as i'm new to graphics and modelling.

Not bad for a starter, I'm in the more intermediate for low poly and so far you're doing pretty well. Just slowly add things to it that are simple and it will look great.
Also, You should watch Cortes's Tut

It looks nice bud, Especially as one of your first projects, Loving the use of the sky, it's rare to see someone actually trying to incorporate good lighting early off im glad to see your taking my suggestions into effect.
in terms of Texturing, You really want to keep it as Basic as possible. And lighting is huge, Make sure You have a couple light sources if need be i like the warmth to the light source gives a good dusk feeling, the placement of the light source works really well too.
Just in reality Snow Would bounce around light a little more than portrayed, So sometimes you need to add a couple light sources to cheat that. also, in reality the color of the base of the mountain would be slightly darker than the upper part, When you do your texture Add a slight gradient set it to "V" and have a slight fade and have end right before the snow.
If you ever want some help learning what i mean, hmu with a pm. Overall i'm not gonna critique it too hard, as its not a piece it was just a learning experience. I expect to see bigger and greater things from you soon.
And Ajax. I would love to see some work, You should post some modelings.
