I want to buy gold and was looking at the Memberships, and was wondering what's the Quarterly Membership? Quarterly means every 3 months but it says one time payment..

You pay $5.97 per month for gold.
It can be cancelled on your paypal at any given time.

The Quarterly Membership is quite simply a one time payment for a 3 month period.
Just like buying a 3 month Xbox Live code!
It doesn't take it out every month for 3 months, it takes it out once for that whole 3 months!

If I could buy gold I would buy Semiannual so I would only have to pay twice a year!But first I would buy the monthly to try it!
